EAST COMPETITION CHEERLEADING
THE TEAM
Eight members of the East Cheerleading team have dedicated themselves to the resurrection of a Competitive Team. The athletes (Alexa Atlas, Amanda Merovitz, Olivia Lass, Taylor Heskin, Ariella Gvili, Nicole Drebick, and Gabriella Neely) have been practicing separately from the Fall Sideline team two additional days a week since August to prepare their choreographed routine. The East community is so proud of the girls for their dedication to the growth of the program! Go Cougars!

COACH'S NOTE
The 2021 season was the first time East Cheerleading competed in over a decade. Out of the two competitions they participated in, they placed first in their division in both and earned the title of Grand Champions in the second with zero deductions. While this would be impressive for a seasoned team, it is absolutely exceptional for a brand new program. I am so proud to be their coach and am thankful to be able to watch them pave the way for the future of East Cheerleading.
